  After finding out our old dinner favorite "the Gatherings" was closed. We decided to dine at the Acorn Grill after a full day of skiing. I had been there for lunch before but not for dinner. The service was a bit slow and the menu a bit pricey for the atmosphere. We ordered prime rib one medium one medium well. It appeared that the cuts were taken from the same piece then the med well was slapped on the grill (not flame) to brown each side. The Med rare was RED. all the way through and lukewarm. My son ordered Lobster Mac which was essentially gooey macaroni with bits of lobster. Hardly worth the $28 fee for such a plate. No dinner rolls, I guess you could call the spring mix, romaine, onions, tomatoes, celery and black olives a salad bar. And to top it off the place charge a 4% Fee over and above the Sales tax. I guess to say one good thing. The dogs LOVED massive amounts of grizzle and fat we had to cut off our PR. New owners really need to get their act together if they want this to be the dining experience you pay for.
